A group of supervillains are recruited to carry out government missions.. Stephen He was originally cast as Robert Reynolds/Temporary, but after filming was delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike (2023), He dropped out due to scheduling conflicts and later was replaced by Lewis Pullman. He later expressed his disappointment at not being able to star in the film and hopes to be cast in another Marvel film.
