A live-action adaptation of Disney’s 1937 animated film ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’. Check out all the major announcements and updates from D23 2024: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Following comments from Peter Dinklage claiming that the original film portrayed the dwarves negatively, Disney announced on January 25, 2022 that it would be approaching the characters differently, while also consulting with members of the dwarfism community. Many fans of the original, including Dylan Postl, have pointed out that many of Dinklage’s observations were incorrect. For one, he said that the dwarves didn’t live in a cave.
